Hearts boss Jim Jefferies today warned his players to cut out the complacency as they prepare to lock horns with arch rivals Hibs this weekend.
The Edinburgh side went down 3-1 to Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday, failing to recover from a disastrous start which saw the Steelmen race into a two-goal lead within 12 minutes.
An irate JJ blasted his team's display after the game and he stressed today that he's wanting to see a huge improvement at Tynecastle when the sixth-placed Jambos take on the team

Hearts boss Jim Jefferies says winger Andrew Driver could be fit to start against local rivals Hibs on Saturday.
The England under-21 international has been back in full training following his knee injury and will be given a run out in a planned training game against Kilmarnock on Tuesday.
If he comes through that without any problems, Driver could earn a shock start in the Edinburgh derby this weekend.

JIM JEFFERIES is demanding his Hearts troops match their fans' passion in this weekend's Edinburgh derby - his first since returning to Gorgie two months ago.
The Jambos paid for the price for a lacklustre display on Saturday as they slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Motherwell, a result which left them 11 points behind Craig Brown's in-form side.

SPL: I want to cheer up Jim Jefferies by going on a goalscoring run, says Hearts kid David Templeton
DAVID TEMPLETON last night admitted he was thankful for missing a half-time dressing down from raging Hearts gaffer Jim Jefferies.
The Tynecastle youngster was warming up at the interval as his boss tore into the Jambo stars for a shocking opening 45 minutes.

Hearts failed for the second straight week to make up any ground on the clubs just ahead on the table, today falling meekly 3-1 to Motherwell at Fir Park. Mark Reynolds , John Sutton and Jim O'Brien all scored before David Templeton finally put in a consolation goal for the Jambos.
Hearts now sit ten points below even fifth place and are only six points clear of seventh place St. Johnstone who still have three games in hand.

The Motherwell renaissance took another significant step at the weekend with an assured win over Hearts that not only consolidates a top-six finish but which also keeps the Fir Park side on course for a European spot.
Craig Brown, the Motherwell manager, initially brought in to steady the ship has done more than simply steer it out of choppy waters.
In less than three months he has navigated his way to a run of 12 games unbeaten, a joint-third league placing and all with just three SPL goals conceded al

The immediate extension of the league to at least 16 teams would mean an end to the current ridiculous split, a reduction in the turnover of up and coming managers (Eddie May being the latest victim), the excitement of play-offs, an end to the increasing familiarity of the teams, who play each other as often as six times in one season, a 30-match league season which would facilitate a winter break, and arguably enhance our European prospects.
It would also produce enhanced financial benefits for our clubs

David Templeton might have scored against Motherwell, but the winger's mere consolation goal barely registered for the Hearts starlet, when he reflected on defeat at Fir Park, last night.
Temps struck a well-worked goal after 68 minutes, but by that time the game was arguably lost, with Hearts players scratching their heads at the manner of the defeat, and in particular the defending for the Steelmen's three goals.
"It was a really poor start," the former Stenhousemuir youth acknowledged.
He was disappointed especially with the way we lost the goals and the start we had -David Templeton
